Legacy supporting families

legacy

Having spent more than 10 years in the Army as an artillery officer, i have developed a strong association with the military. It is because I feel i have received so much from my time in the service, that i feel so passionate about giving something back to the defence force community.

Not only do defence members get our special defence force discount, but as an added bonus i would also like to make a donation from every defence force purchase to Legacy.

Please mention legacy when you make a purchase and a percentage of the sale will go to Legacy.

Legacy do an amazing job, not just for the older war veterans, but also those affected by new conflicts, like those in Afghanistan.

I have pledged to donate a $10,000 diamond tennis bracelet at the annual Legacy Ball to help raise some much needed funds for Legacy.

Today Legacy’s caring and compassionate service assists over 100,000 widows and 1,900 children and dependants with a disability.

Legacy is a voluntary organisation supported by veterans, servicemen and women, and volunteers drawn from all walks of life. Their support and services now extend to include the dependants of members of today’s Australian Defence Force who lose their lives as a result of their military service.

Legacy is dedicated to enhancing the lives and opportunities of our families through innovative and practical programs aimed at:

  • download (10)the protection of individuals and families basic needs;
  • advocating for their entitlements, rights and benefits;
  • assisting families through bereavement; and
  • helping people thrive, despite their adversity and loss.
